Commerce Chenango, Inc., in Norwich, NY,  is seeking a new President and CEO who will provide dynamic leadership and passionate advocacy on behalf of Commerce Chenango and its affiliates. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 5 years)  ·
  • Professional experience in economic development, marketing, public relations, and/or communications 
  • Prior positions to include staff supervision, team leadership and financial performance responsibilities
  • Demonstrated record of leadership and success in business and relationship development as well as organizational growth
  • Current in contemporary office technology and social media
  • Experience in public speaking; engaging and positive personality; energetic self-starter and problem solver
  • High ethical standards and history of maintaining highest level of integrity and professionalism
  • Willingness and availability to occasionally work on weekends and evenings
