The CDO Workforce Development Board has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit highly qualified organizations and individuals that can assist the CDO Workforce Development Board with an array of needed workforce development services.

Contracts will be developed with all organizations/entities selected through this RFP process. The terms of the contract will be for the period of July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019. This contract may be renewed for two additional years, through June 30, 2021, based upon availability of funds, successful attainment of program goals and performance standards and other criteria as determined by the CDO Workforce Development Board and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act rules and regulations. The Budget and Work Plan will be negotiated annually and based upon available funding.

The CDO Workforce Board seeks to identify providers that address barriers youth encounter in attaining skills to attain the high school-equivalency diploma and/or locating and maintaining long-term employment, including skills and knowledge related to self-sufficiency, financial stability, and career advancement. It is estimated that ninety (90) youth per year will be enrolled across the three-county area within each of the three (3) year contract period.

Eligible applicants under this RFP are consulting firms, for profit organizations, not-for profit organizations, nonprofit organizations and educational organizations with experience in delivering the specified component services. Organizations should only apply for providing services that they are capable of delivering. Because of the array of services being asked for, it is doubtful that one agency can deliver on more than a few service components.
